This guide illustrates all steps during installation ,and gives you a fast way to complete Middle Atlantic Power Manager installation and start to use this software.

Installation Steps

The Middle Atlantic Power Manager family currently consists of two individual members identified as follows:

Step 1. The first screen is the welcome screen. Click the Next button to continue.

Step 2. Choose where to install at the Destination Directory Screen.

Step 3. Choose one component to install in the Select Components Screen. To click will display a description of the selected component. ( Note: The components here are mutualy exclusive. Only install one component on any computer. )

 

Step 4. Choose the destination folder for the Middle Atlantic Power Manager shortcut at the Select Start Menu Folder Screen.

Step 5. Setup necessary service at the Select Additional Tasks Screen ( Note: The options will show if services are not yet activated.)

 

Note: This screen will be skipped if these services have been activated.

Step 5. Click Finish button to complete the installation.

Getting Started

You can select Start >> Programs >> Middle Atlantic Power Manager >> Master/Slave for local use. You can also input http://127.0.0.1:7225/ in address field of web browser.

Change the Username and Password

The default username is admin and default password is admin if this is the first time to use Middle Atlantic Power Manager. You can change both in the Login Information page in Middle Atlantic Power Manager Master or Slave. For security reasons, we recommend you to change it.

Setup Phrase Key with Master and Slave

The default phrase key is encryption.key. You can set a new one in Connected System >> Identification page of Middle Atlantic Power Manager Master and Connected System page of Middle Atlantic Power Manager Slave. The key set in Master and Slave must be matched, and otherwise Slave can't establish communication with Master. For security reason, we recommend you change it.
